SCOTT KING, PRINCIPAL

·         As a principal of SFPA, Mr. King has directed the design of hundreds of buildings.  These building categories include military, hospitality, retail, office, restaurants/ bars, industrial, and medical.  Mr. King’s military experience includes family housing, barracks, hangars, youth center, chow hall, and various administration office buildings.  Hospitality projects include The Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch Scottsdale and The Westward Look Resort Tucson.  Retail projects include the Scottsdale Fashion Square remodel as well as hundreds of tenant improvements ranging from high to lower end tenants.  He was personally responsible for project administration and direction of in-house personnel including coordination between architectural work and the work of engineering consultants, research of applicable regulations, conferences, and agency consultation, preparation of written and graphic materials such as Basis of Designs, coordination of government supplied data, project scheduling for decision making, design and
design documentation, and presentations to owners, government, building users, and ROICC personnel.

·         Expertise in repair, alteration, remodel & renovation of existing spaces, tenant improvements & reconfigurations, programming, space planning, building code compliance reviews, ADA surveys, and specification development.

·         Experienced in providing turnkey project delivery and construction supervision.
